Chicken with Celery and Pickles
Ingredients:
2 tbsp canola/ cooking oil
Chicken parts of your choice
1 medium onion (chopped)
1 tbsp garlic (minced)
3 stalks celery (chopped)
Salt and Pepper
150 grams sweet pickle relish
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
2 tbsp cream (optional)
3 tbsp cheddar cheese (optional)
Directions:
| 1. Heat the oil in the pan and sear the chicken. Set aside. |
| 2. In the same pan, sauté the onions and garlic. |
| 3. Add the celery and cook for about 1 minute. |
| 4. Season with salt and pepper. |
| 5. Add the pickles. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. |
| 7. Add the cream. |
| 8. Add the cheese. |
| 9. Put the chicken back in the pan. Let simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked. |
| 10. Add the parsley. |
| 11. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. |
| 12. Plate and Enjoy! :) |
