Sausage and Mushroom Pizza
Ingredients:
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp garlic (minced)
250g pork sausage
1/2 cup button mushrooms
1 tbsp sriracha sauce
Salt and Pepper
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried basil
Plain wraps
1 tbsp red pesto
1/4 cup grated 4 cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan and romano)
Directions:
| 1. Pre-heat the oven at 350°F or 180°C. Sauté the garlic in a pan with the olive oil until golden brown. |
| 2. Add the sausage. |
| 3. Cook for about 5 minutes and separate into small pieces. |
| 4. Add the salt, pepper and the dried herbs. Cook for about 2 more minutes. |
| 5. Add the sriracha sauce. Cook for another 5 minutes. |
| 6. Add the mushrooms and cook for about 8 -10 minutes. Above portion for 2 people. |
| 7. Taste and add more salt and pepper as needed. Set aside. |
| 8. Put some red pesto sauce (or tomato sauce) on the wrap. |
| 9. Add the cheese (leave out about half an inch to an inch from the edge to keep it nice and crunchy). |
| 10. Add the sausage and mushroom mixture. |
| 11. Bake for about 5-8 minutes. |
| 12. Slice into your preferred portions. |
| 13. Plate and Enjoy! :) Above: Topped with some greens and a poached egg. |
