Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups unsalted butter @ room temperature (for thin and crispy cookies)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
Directions:
1. Pre-heat the oven at 180°C or 350°F. Combine the butter, sugar and vanilla extract. |
2. Cream the mixture with a hand or stand mixer. |
3. Beat for about 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. |
4. Add the eggs. |
5. Beat for about a minute or until well-combined. Set aside. |
6. Combine and sift the dry ingredients. |
7. Add the flour mixture to the butter & sugar mixture. |
8. Mix together with a mixer until well-combined. I just used a spatula to avoid over-mixing. |
9. Separate in 2 batches. |
10. Add the peanut butter and dark chocolate chips in 1 batch. |
11. Add the white and milk chocolate chips in the other. |
12. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the batter 2 inches apart. Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. |
13. Let cool for about 5 minutes then transfer into a cooling rack. |
14. Plate and Enjoy! :) |
