Oreo Chocolate Cheesecake
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups crushed Oreo cookies (about 24 Oreo pcs)
6 tbsp melted butter
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
2 tbsp milk
2 blocks chocolate cream cheese* (at room temperature)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar
White and Milk Chocolate chips (for topping)
* Or 2 blocks of regular cream cheese combined with 4 tbsp melted milk chocolate
Directions:
| 1. Pour the melted butter on the crushed Oreo cookies. I prefer mine chunky :) |
| 2. Mix until well-combined. |
| 4. Combine the whipping cream and milk. |
| 5. Whisk until soft peaks form or once it has doubled in volume. |
| 6. Combine the chocolate cream cheese, vanilla and sugar. |
| 7. Whisk for about 2 minutes to dissolve the sugar. |
| 8. Use a spatula to scrape the mixture around the bowl. |
| 9. Add the whipped cream to the chocolate cream cheese mixture. |
| 10. Fold the whipped cream. |
| 11. Once well combined, cover with cling film and chill for about 30 minutes. |
| 12. Pour the chocolate cream cheese on top of the Oreo crust. |
| 13. Spread the chocolate cream cheese mixture. |
| 14. Cover again with cling film and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow it to set. |
| 15. After chilling, top with chocolate chips or fresh berries. |
| 16. Unlock the springform pan. |
| 17. Plate and Enjoy! :) |
