Roots and Veggies: Ginisang Sitaw with Tofu and Wild Rice

 Ginisang Sitaw with Tofu


Ingredients:

2 tbsp canola oil
1 small ginger (sliced)
1 small onion (chopped)
1 tbsp garlic (minced)
100g pork (minced)
1 tomato (sliced)
1 packet long beans (cut 3 inches long)
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sriracha or sambal
1 tbsp sesame oil
Salt and Pepper
1 packet Chinese tofu
Wild rice (optional)


Directions:

1. Sauté the ginger.

2. Add the onions.  Cook until translucent.

3. Add the garlic and cook until golden brown.

10. Add the oyster sauce, sriracha and sesame oil.

11. Cook for another 5 minutes or until the long beans are tender.

12. Taste and add more salt and pepper as needed.  Add the tofu.

13. Stir and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

14. Serve with wild rice.  Plate and Enjoy! :)
