Bread Crumbs: Tuna Puff



Tuna Puff

Ingredients:

Puff Pastry (Roll-out thinly to the size that you prefer)
2 cans tuna (chunks in brine)
1 tbsp fresh chives (finely chopped)
1 tbsp fresh parsley (finely chopped)
Salt and Pepper
4 tbsp cream
1/4 cup grated cheese (4 cheese: mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, romano)
1 egg (beaten)


Directions:

1. Preheat the oven at 180°C or 350°F.  Combine tuna, chives, parsley and salt & pepper.

2. Add cream.

3. Mix and add more salt & pepper as needed.

4. Add the cheese.

5. Place the filling on the rolled-out puff pastry.  I used store-bought puff pastry that I just rolled out.
You can also buy pre-rolled puff pastries.

6. Cover with another pastry sheet.

7. Crimp the edges using a fork and poke a few holes on top.  Brush with egg wash (beaten egg).

8. Bake in 180°C or 350°F oven for 30 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.


9. Plate and Enjoy! :)
