All About Pasta: Bacon and Tomato Cream Pasta

Bacon an Tomato Cream Pasta

Ingredients:

100 grams bacon bits
1 small onion (chopped)
1 tsp garlic (minced)
1/2 cup tomatoes (chopped)
1tbsp butter
1/4 tsp chili pepper flakes
1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 cup cream
2 tbsp water
2 tbsp sour cream
Salt and Pepper
Pasta of your choice (cooked as per instructions)


Directions:

1. Cook the bacon bits in a pan.

2. Add the onions and cook until translucent.

3. Add the garlic and cook until golden brown.

4. Add the tomatoes and sauté for about a minute.

5. Season with salt, pepper, Italian herbs and chili flakes.

6. Add in the butter.  Stir and cook for about 3 minutes.

7. Add the cream and water.  Stir and cook for about 5 minutes.

8. Add the sour cream.

9. Simmer for about 5 minutes.

10.  Cook the pasta about 2 minutes less than the package instructions.  Add the pasta to the sauce.

11. Lightly stir and cook for about 1-2 minutes.

12. Plate and Enjoy! :)
