Bread Crumbs: Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Puff

Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Puffs

Ingredients:

Chicken breast (cut into small cubes)
1 small onion (chopped)
1 tsp garlic (minced)
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup heavy cream
Button mushrooms (cut into pieces)
Salt and Pepper
2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
Cheese of your choice

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven at 180°C or 350°F.  Sauté the onions and garlic.

2. Add the chicken and cook for about 2 minutes.

3. Add the butter.

4. Add the mushrooms.

5. Stir until the mushrooms are all coated with the butter.  Cook for about 5 minutes.

6. Add the parsley.  Season with salt and pepper.

7. Add the cream.

8. Simmer for about another 3-5 minutes until the chicken is cooked.

9. Place the puff pastry on a lightly greased sheet tray lined with parchment paper.
I just bought puff pastry from the store and rolled 'em thinly.
Poke a few holes on the pastry to avoid too much puffing.

10. Place the chicken filling at the centre of the pastry.  They are the 4 light ones in the right.
I did 2 toppings today.  The other one is the chipolata sausage and pimiento.

11. Top with some cheese.  I used red cheddar for this topping.

12. Bake for about 20-25 minutes.  Plate and Enjoy! :)
