Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice: Mini Fruit Tarts

Mini Fruit Tarts

Ingredients:

Fresh fruits of your choice (cut the bigger fruits in small pieces)
2 tbsp fruit jam or marmalade
1 tbsp water
Shortcrust tart shells
Pastry cream/ Custard (will post the recipe separately)


Directions:

1. Heat the jam or marmalade and add the water.  Let cool and brush the fruits lightly to give them a nice shine.

2. Put some custard in the tart shells.

3. Smoothen the tops.

4. Top with the glazed fruits.  Chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.

5. Plate and Enjoy! :)
