Roots and Veggies: Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

 Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

4 pcs russet potatoes (boiled)
2 tbsp crushed/ minced garlic
3 tbsp butter
1 egg
2 tbsp cream cheese (optional)
Salt and Pepper
Fresh herbs (parsley or chives)
Salt and Pepper


Directions:

1. Boil the potatoes in salted water with the garlic.

2. Drain the cooked potatoes and garlic bits.  Add the butter, egg and cheese.


3. Mash with a masher or mixer.

4. Season with salt and pepper.

5. Top with the fresh herbs.  Plate and enjoy! :)
